How to Play

Every game is played together in a room. One person creates the room and shares the 4-letter code. Everyone else joins on their own phone.

🎯 Prophet for Profit

1. Create or Join a room. Share the 4-letter code with friends. The host can pick a topic, paste a lesson link, or upload a lesson PDF so the questions come from it.

2. Mixed Questions:

  • Number Guessing — guess a number, then vouch for who you think was closest. Prophet (closest) gets 100 pts, correct vouchers get 50 pts.
  • Multiple Choice — everyone answers, then vouches for who they think got it right. Correct = +100 pts, wrong = -25 pts. Prophet (voted most likely correct) gets +100 pts, correct vouchers +50 pts.

3. Speed Bonus: Answer within 5s = +50, within 10s = +25, within 20s = +10.

4. Bonus Rounds (every 3rd round):

  • Retry a Missed Question — answer a question you got wrong for full credit (no help)
  • Research (40s) — get 40 seconds to look up the answer
  • Get Help — pick someone to chat you hints. 60 seconds. Helper gets +50!

After answering, everyone vouches for the Prophet.

5. Kingdoms:

  • Telestial: 0-499 pts
  • Terrestrial: 500-999 pts
  • Celestial: 1000+ pts

🌳 Temple Quest (Kids)

1. Host, Join, or Play Solo. Everyone starts with 100 points and sees the same 14 ancestors.

2. Step 1 — Build the Family Tree. Tap a photo, then tap the spot where that person belongs. Use the clues on each card (last names, birth years, who married whom). Tap Check My Tree when all 14 are placed. Wrong spots turn red — tap them to try again. First to finish gets +40, then +30, +20, +10, and +5 for everyone after.

3. Step 2 — Temple Ordinances. Each ancestor needs four ordinances in order: 💧 Baptism/Confirmation, ✋ Initiatory, 🕯️ Endowment, 💍 Sealing. Pick an ordinance, then tap an ancestor to do it. The list is shared — once someone has done an ordinance for an ancestor, it's done for everyone, so be quick! Each one you do is +10.

4. Step 3 — Temple & Family History Trivia. A question appears for everyone. Hit BUZZ! first to answer. Correct = +30, wrong = -5 and someone else gets a turn.

5. Need help? Double-tap the HAV button for a hint. Each hint costs 1 point.

6. Final Standings show everyone's score and medals: Gold, Silver, Bronze.

🎱 Miller Bingo (Family)

1. The caller creates the room and runs the game from their device. Everyone else joins with the room code and gets a bingo card on their phone. Someone without a phone? The caller adds them as a paper player and prints their card.

2. Pick a pattern for each round: any line, four corners, X, or blackout. First to fill the pattern taps BINGO! (paper players yell it, and the caller checks their card). Prizes per round are up to you.

3. Three kinds of rounds:

  • Classic Bingo — the caller draws a ball, and anyone holding that number marks it. Plain bingo.
  • Miller Trivia — every ball comes with a trivia question about your family. If the number is on your card, you must answer to mark it. Right answer marks the square. Wrong answer loses it. Get 3 right in a row and earn a free square to mark anywhere. Paper players answer out loud and the caller taps right or wrong.
  • Who's Story Is It? — before the game, everyone writes 2 true facts about themselves. During trivia rounds, a story round pops up: one true story mixed with 3 fakes. Guess which story is real and who it belongs to. Right person = 1 free square, right story = 1 more. The person it's about sits that one out and gets a free square too.

4. Making trivia questions. Before the gathering, open Library & Questions inside Miller Bingo. Upload a family history PDF, photos of pages, a voice recording, or a typed memory. Tap Make questions and the questions are written for you. Read through them, fix or delete any you don't like, then import the set into your room when you're ready to play.
